Scalp Acupuncture
Scalp acupuncture is a specialized form of acupuncture that focuses on specific areas of the scalp associated with different functions of the body. It may be used as a complementary therapy to help support symptom management, comfort, and overall well-being. Treatment is individualized based on each patient’s needs and health goals.This specialized form of acupuncture is not commonly available and is offered at Southland as part of our commitment to providing expanded, patient-centered care.

HEALOW
At Southland, we prefer to see you in person whenever possible so we can provide complete, personalized care. When an in-person visit is not possible, telehealth through healow, powered by eClinicalWorks, offers a convenient way to connect with your healthcare provider for eligible appointments.
Getting Started with Healow
To use telehealth, you’ll need a free Healow Patient Portal account.
If you haven’t set one up yet, our friendly staff will be happy to help you get connected and ready for your visit.
With your healow Patient Portal, you can:
- Attend eligible telehealth visits
- Access your medical information
- View portions of your medical chart
- Communicate securely with your care team
- Stay connected to your care from home
DOXY.ME
Doxy.me makes it easy to connect with your provider from the comfort of your home. There is no app to download and no account required. Simply use the secure link provided by our team to join your virtual visit from a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Whenever possible, we encourage in-person visits so your provider can provide the most complete care. When coming to the clinic is not possible, Doxy.me offers a convenient and secure way to stay connected with your care team.
Insurance and Coverages
Southland Integrated Services provides care to everyone, whether you have insurance or not. We accept a variety of health plans, including Medi-Cal and Medicare, and offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program for eligible patients.
Our team can also provide support with applying for Medi-Cal and Medicare and help you understand the coverage options available to you.
